Thinking Machines' geospatial data warehouse is now in closed beta

Last month, we released GeoAI which is a customized solution that we provide for organizations that have a specific geospatial use case. At the core of GeoAI is data. Not just any type of data: open-source data.

Open-source data plays a key role in Thinking Machines’ mission of helping organizations make better decisions. By combining lots of different open-source data with the organization’s own internal data, we’re able to discover valuable and actionable insights that we wouldn’t have been able to get otherwise. For the past few months, we’ve been stockpiling our geospatial data warehouse...

Now, we’re excited to announce that we’re giving you a look at this geospatial data warehouse with our release of Geodata Catalog.

Get in touch with us to get access to Geodata Catalog today!

We believe that understanding the value of data is a continuous process. It’s especially valuable to be able to see the data when you’re still exploring all the possibilities. Geodata Catalog lets you list down and view all sorts of datasets in our geospatial data warehouse so that you don’t have to look at spreadsheets when what you really need is a map.

You can add data to the map and then you can hover over it to see a tooltip with a description of each data point.

Geodata Catalog has wealth data, social media data, points of interest data, population data, and many more that you’ll find interesting and useful. These are available for the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, and Singapore.

Aside from searching, you can also filter through the data by geography or by category.

Of course, it’s not just about how much data you have. It’s also about how you use it. In the past, we’ve helped our clients with different use cases spanning across healthcare access, humanitarian aid, and infrastructure planning. The key component uniting them all together? Geospatial data.

You can layer multiple datasets on top of one another. Try it out for yourself: you might even find a combination of layers that's super insightful!

If you can't find a certain dataset that you're looking for, we've got you covered. Just contact us and we'll add it for you as soon as possible. You can leave your contact details through the "Get In Touch" portion of Geodata Catalog or you can also send an email at [email protected] to get straight to the point.

You can request more data or request for an account by getting in touch with us.
